Well, the time was finally here again for this year's Florida Billfish Master's Tournament. The captain's meeting was held Thursday, March 18th, 2004 at the beautiful and historic Miami Beach Rod & Reel Club.

As the sun set over beautiful Hibiscus/Fisher Islands, the time grew near for the meeting to begin.

This year's third annual Florida Billfish Masters Tournament is the second of three legs of the Libertad Challenge -- $10,000 goes to the winner!

Before people started to arrive, we took the time to get the StripTeaser girl up on the stage for a few pictures...

Anglers and observers began to arrive, surely filling up the bar area first (as always). As the Miami Beach Rod & Reel CLub began to fill up -- it was almost time to begin the meetings.

As tournament director Captain Dan Kipnis took the stage, everyone listened to the tournament rules and prize ($$$) structure...

As the captain's meeting got under way inside, the observer's meeting went on outside the club -- for an extra $50 boats could be guarenteed a certified IGFA observer onboard for both fishing days...
